We accept payment in form of cash, check, money order, and credit card. We also can bill any workman’s comp or auto claim through the Michigan no-fault law.

Longer answer: Our drivers can assist taking you or your loved one down steps, only if there is another individual doing the brunt of the task.
Papuga Transportation drivers will not only come to your door, but we will wheel you out of your house, if need be. Furthermore, we will take you right up to the doctor’s suite, and even help sign you in, if need be.
All vans are equipped with company wheelchairs, primarily used for hospital and facility one-way discharges. We can let individuals use these wheelchairs for round trips doctor’s appointments; however, please ensure to call our office to set this up in advance.
We use caravan style vans with manual, rear-entry ramps.
We can accommodate wheelchairs up to 32” wide.
Our weight limit for individuals in non-electric wheelchairs is 350lbs; any persons over 350lbs is not eligible for transportation with our company. Our ramp capacity, for any persons in a self-operating electric wheelchair, is 850lbs.
Ours vans can accommodate up to 3 persons other than the driver; we have a spot for one wheelchair, a jump seat, and a up front passenger seat.
If you cancel before 24 hours prior to a scheduled pickup time there is no charge. Cancellations made within 24 hours will result in a $50 cancellation fee.
Unfortunately, because of the wide range of clientele we have going through our vans daily, we are unable to accommodate any animals in our company vehicles.
